Women, men and children of all ages are welcome and, while you can come in any time, an appointment means you won’t be disappointed. Our trained staff can also assist with eyebrow shaping and tinting, eyelash tints and facial waxing, as well as brow threading.
We proudly use and recommend the Keune range of hair cosmetics and the Cloud Nine range of irons, dryers and curling wands, all at competitive prices. And if you’re unsure of the perfect present, our gift vouchers are available at any value you choose.

We are always on the look-out for qualified, senior hairstylists, as well as apprentices, to join our friendly team.
We are flexible: some of us work full-time, others part-time and casual, and we can work around your childcare or school holiday needs.

apprentice specials
Our apprentices gain experience and important skills from practising their technique in the salon. They often assist our senior stylists with basin services such as shampoos, toners and with blowdries. They are an important, valuable part of the Nuovo team.
We sometimes offer specials: if you book online, please select the apprentice named in the description. While their work is overseen and checked by a senior stylist, an apprentice will naturally take longer which is why some of their services are discounted to varying degrees. We ask for your patience and respect during the appointment.
These specials are only available with certain apprentices and on particular days - ask for a time that suits you best.

We use and recommend Keune Care, Style, Blend, So Pure and 1922 ranges of shampoos, conditioners, treatments and styling products.
We stock a small range of our favourite CPR, Base & Seamless1 Hair Extension care products, together with Cloud Nine irons & wands.

Payment
We accept cash, debit cards, Mastercard, Visa, Afterpay and Zip Pay. (There is a small surcharge for all eftpos transactions.)
Deposits
We sometimes ask for a small deposit (including all Sunday and Public Holiday appointments) which is deducted from the cost of your service on the day. It is fully refundable or may be credited to another appointment if you provide 24 hours’ notice (please see Cancellation Policy). If you don’t wish to pay a deposit, you are welcome to come in without an appointment - a stylist may be available to see you right away.
APPOINTMENTS
Phone, or drop by to book your appointment: walk-ins are welcome if we have availability. Or click the button below to book a limited number of the services we provide (some require a phone or personal consultation).
We ask adult clients to come alone if possible as we have limited space.
Gift vouchers
The perfect gift: a voucher to be used on services or any of our retail products. Valid for three years.
cancellation policy
We realise things change and sometimes you will need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. We will have dedicated time to your appointment, so would appreciate it if you could let us know that you’re not able to make it. You can respond to the sms you receive, confirming your appointment, or message via facebook, call us or email.
If you have paid a deposit, it is fully refundable or can to be used for your rescheduled appointment when you give us 24 hours’ notice that you can’t make it. Thanks for your consideration.

We partner with trained makeup artists and can arrange for your hair appointment to work in with them.

The Nuovo Café is no ordinary coffee shop.
Our adjacent cafe provides a range of barista-made beverages, snacks, toasties and the fabulous Flying Fox range of ice blox.
We serve Piazza D’Oro Mezzo coffee; and a selection of quality teas.
With a wide range of soft drinks, shakes and snacks, Nuovo Café has something for everyone. Take-away or take a seat.
